Helping Artists Create Bronze Art
Artist Peter Berryman has this to say of working with Inspired Bronze to create bronze art:
"Inspired Bronze has cast, finished, and patina'd 30 pieces of bronze sculpture for me. … Their work is detailed, professional, and artistic. They are fun to work with and on time. I have to love them."
Peter Berryman was born in New York City and raised in Arizona. He moved to Los Angeles, where for two years he worked as an apprentice in a bronze foundry. He traveled extensively in South America, Asia, and Europe, studying art and spirituality before settling in Australia. There he worked as the art director for the Queensland Museum in Brisbane and as a sculptor. He produced sculpture for one-man shows held in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast. He also started a business producing large sculptures for theme parks such as Sea World, Dream World and the Taronga Zoo.
Peter returned to the U.S. in the mid-1980s. He lived in Seattle and San Francisco, continuing as a sculptor and builder. Drawn back to the desert and nature of Arizona, in the early '90s he bought ranch land property in the Sonoran Desert outside Tucson. There Peter and his wife Susan built Blue Raven Studios, an "off the grid" straw-bale home and studio. Since then, the Berrymans have lived and worked in Idaho, New Hampshire, and Florida.
Blue Raven Studios current line of bronze wildlife birds showcases Peter’s expertise as a fine arts sculptor.
